⚽ 1926 Jimmy Brain – Arsenal 🔴
With Arsenal on the verge of a major double im looking back at a scarce Boys’ Magazine - Famous Footer Clubs set issue featuring Jimmy Brain, Arsenal’s leading centre-forward during the mid-1920s.
Brain was one of the club’s first real goal machines in the First Division, finishing as Arsenal’s top scorer in multiple seasons after their 1919 promotion. This card comes from the early years of Herbert Chapman’s revolution, just before Arsenal rose to one of the top teams of English football in the 1930s.
